For my project, I have planned on participating and encouraging volunteers for a cleanup drive of the Elk Grove Village, removing accumulated wastes in areas not meant for dumping, separating the plastics and sending them for recycling to organizations working on it, and cleaning of the water bodies. The initiative is aimed at reducing plastic and garbage pollution as much as possible, and through it, beautification of the region, along with creating greater awareness for cleanliness and concern for the environment.
